Mustafa Volkan GÜNGÖR
I've spent 20 years as a Technical Leader and Project/Delivery
Manager, specialized in delivering end-to-end solutions,
customer onboarding, and lifecycle support across
Telecommunications, IoT,
Digital Transformation, and Healthcare sectors.
I turn problems into projects—always have.
I combine academic rigor with hands-on problem-solving, moving
fluidly between strategic planning and tactical execution. I enjoy
working on diverse challenges and creating meaningful, practical
solutions to enhance my perspective and perception. I tend to turn
every conversation, idea, issue or problem into a project.
When a bulk of of RFID tags needed to be programmed with complex
custom formats, I developed a bulk-coding tool that became the
standard across all our L1 support teams. When we had to mount RTLS
tags four meters high on truck trailers with no proper equipment, I
welded an installation apparatus from scrap metal in the customer's
workshop.
The same instinct drives my personal life. When my wife and I kept
buying duplicate books, I built a home library app to track our
collection. When my doctor friends complained about scheduling
chaos, I designed a doctor-centric, LLM-powered appointment model
built around their actual workflow. And when my daughter’s bed rail
failed to do its job, I fabricated a custom one using wooden sticks
and PVC connectors.
Currently, I'm advancing this approach through PhD research in
Decision Support Systems—exploring how data-driven models can
transform decision-making in libraries, healthcare and enterprise
environments.
When the solution requires code, metal, strategy, or all three —
if there's a requirement and a function to meet, I'll find a way
to deliver it. — digital or handmade.
